Nutrition
The Title III Nutrition Meals Program is a wonderful resource for individuals aged 60 and older, including younger spouses, those with disabilities, and volunteers. It provides a nurturing environment where nutritious meals are shared, friendships blossom, and a sense of community thrives.
Since 1973, CASE has been proud to be a provider of this vital program in Mercer County. Each year, we deliver around 90,000 hot, delicious meals prepared with care by our dedicated staff at the Senior Center in Mercer County.
This program is not just about meals; it's about fostering connection and well-being. It's a place where older adults can come together, share stories, and enjoy a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The Title III Nutrition Meals Program is made possible through the generous support of the CASEWV Bureau of Senior Services and the Appalachian Area Agency on Aging, along with kind donations from those who believe in our mission.

Transportation
CASEWV Commission on Aging provides essential transportation services for senior citizens within Mercer County to help them overcome mobility challenges and maintain independence. Operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM (excluding federal holidays), they use a wheelchair-accessible bus for daily routes, picking up seniors at home and taking them to the Senior Center at 600 Trent Street in Princeton, as well as offering transport for medically necessary appointments within the county with at least 24 hours notice. While these in-county trips are free of charge, donations are gratefully accepted, and individuals seeking more information can contact Jimmy Richardson, the Transportation Coordinator, or click the link below to request transportation.

In-home Care
CASEWV offers various supportive programs for West Virginia seniors and their caregivers. FAIR provides in-home respite care for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia, offering caregivers a much-needed break. Lighthouse, funded by the state, assists those 60 and older who meet medical and financial criteria with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and light housekeeping tasks for up to 60 hours per month. Family Alzheimer’s In-Home Respite— FAIR—is a program designed to provide care and activities for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and give family caregivers a needed break.

Lighthouse
The LIGHTHOUSE Program began in 2007 to meet a growing need for in-home senior services throughout West Virginia. By receiving a variety of supportive assistance through the program, seniors are able to remain in their communities and continue to live in the comfort of their own homes.
Aged and Disabled Waiver Program
The Aged and Disabled Waiver (ADW) program is an in-home care program for individuals who meet the nursing home eligibility level of care, but want to stay in their own home. Personal Attendant staff come to your home to assist with your personal care needs.
