What is Home Visitation?

Our program serves children and families throughout Mercer County. We conduct home visits weekly and peer group activities twice a month. Our goal is to provide children with developmentally appropriate educational activities and increase school readiness. We provide educational materials to expectant mothers and help prepare them for the arrival of their new baby. Our program focuses on the family as a whole. We help connect families to resources within their community that may be beneficial to the family’s needs.

This program is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources (HHS) under grant number X10MC33617, Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Grant Program.
