COMMISSION ON AGING

Providers:   We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Care Providers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care.  As a Provider you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with personal care, housework, and transportation to doctor’s appointments. The ideal applicant will have a High School Diploma or GED, dependable vehicle, and valid driver’s license. Previous experience working with the home care field is preferred. Our clients are from all over Mercer County and providers' work will be in their clients' homes either on a part-time or full-time schedule. The Commission on Aging office and senior center is in Princeton, WV

HEAD START

Substitute Teacher: We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our Head Start team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom when the regular teacher is absent. The substitute teacher in cooperation with the teacher or the assistant teacher provides a safe and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes health, nutrition and optimal educational opportunities for participating children. The ideal applicant will have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a valid driver's license. Previous experience working with students or children is preferred. This is a substitute position that can be called to any three Mercer County Head Start locations.  

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE:

Maintenance Technician: The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of facilities and equipment. Performing maintenance in agency facilities such as basic carpentry and plumbing through written or verbal assignments by the immediate supervisor along with other scheduled tasks. The Ideal applicants will have High school Diploma or GED Equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and two years of related experience. This is a full-time position that is based out of the CASEWV Inc., warehouse in Bluefield, WV, but will travel to all CASEWV Inc. properties.
